Paris Moda Haftası: Carven İlkbahar/Yaz 2026

Paris Moda Haftası’nın gösterişli temposu içinde Carven’in defilesi sessiz ama kararlı bir nefes alanı sundu. Mark Howard Thomas, Champs-Élysées’deki markanın tarihi merkezinde gerçekleşen sunumunda modaevinin mahrem alanlarından ilham alarak yaz mevsimine daha içe dönük, daha rafine bir yaklaşım getirdi.

Bu sezon birçok tasarımcı ilk koleksiyonunu sunarken Thomas halihazırda markaya yıllarını vermiş biri olarak Carven’deki ilk solo çıkışını yaptı. Koleksiyon, moda dünyasına hızlıca sunulan yeni fikirlerin arasında tanıdık ama taze bir bakışla öne çıktı. Ev teması giyimdeki sadeliği, işlevselliği ve inceliği buluşturdu.

Koleksiyonun merkezinde iç giyime ve ev eşyalarına yapılan zarif göndermeler vardı: grafik katlamalı elbiseler, dantel kenarlı gömlekler, varla yok arası baskılar… Siluetler sade, dokunuşlar ise detaycıydı. Thomas’ın bu koleksiyonu bir yandan markanın arşivine saygı duruşu niteliği taşıyor, diğer yandan daha kişisel bir görsel dünya kuruyordu. Özellikle beyaz orkideye yapılan göndermeler (Madame Carven’in 1993’te bir botanikçiyle geliştirdiği tür) bazı siluetlerde zarif bir soyutlamayla yeniden hayat buldu.

Bu koleksiyonda Thomas’ın Paris’e özgü bir “déshabillé”, yani hafif bir biçimde giyinik olma hali arayışı dikkat çekiciydi. Önceki sezonlara göre vücuda daha yakın duran kesimler, hacimli ama akışkan kumaşlar ve silik desenler hem yazı çağrıştırıyor hem de şehir yaşamına ayak uyduruyordu. Defilenin soundtrack’i, NTS Radio sunucusu Macca’nın seçtiği kadın müzisyenlerin parçalarından oluşuyordu ve bir kadının gün içindeki ruh haline kulak vermeye davet ediyordu.

Louise Trotter döneminin ardından gelen bu “ikinci bölüm”, Mark Howard Thomas’ın Carven için neler hayal ettiğini daha net ortaya koydu. Gösterişli moda sunumlarının gölgesinde, Carven’in merkezi ofisinde gerçekleşen bu sunum, bir modaevinin içinden geçen defileyle adeta markanın iç dünyasına davet gibiydi.

Carven’in İlkbahar/Yaz 2026 koleksiyonu, sezonun görsel kalabalığı içinde dikkat çekmeden dikkat çekmeyi başardı. Kullanılabilir, içten ve bir o kadar incelikli bir koleksiyon gördük. Yaz mevsimini dışa vurmak yerine, içsel bir sessizlikle karşılayan nadir koleksiyonlardan biri.
