Paris Moda Haftası: Chanel İlkbahar/Yaz 2026

Paris Moda Haftası’nın son gecesinde Grand Palais, gezegenler arası bir Chanel evrenine dönüştü. Devasa kürelerin altında, göz kamaştırıcı bir davetli listesi toplandı: kızları ile birlikte Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Jennie, Ayo Edebiri, Pedro Pascal… Fakat tüm gözler, modaevini yeni bir döneme taşıyan Matthieu Blazy’deydi.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michaela Coel, Pedro Pascal, Margot Robbie 

Bottega Veneta’daki özgün vizyonuyla tanınan Blazy, Chanel’deki ilk koleksiyonuyla büyük jestler yapmadan büyük bir adım attı. Açılışta podyuma çıkan gri, kare kesimli takım gösterişsiz ama güçlü bir mesaj taşıyordu.

Blazy, Gabrielle Chanel’in özünü, kadınları kıyafetlerin kısıtlamalarından kurtarma fikrini yeniden ele alırken modaevinin geçmişiyle bugünü arasında zarif bir diyalog kurdu. Maskülen kesimler, hafifçe kıvrılmış kollar ve Charvet işbirliğiyle hazırlanan gömlekler, Boy Capel’den ilham alan ve Chanel’in özündeki maskülen-feminen geçişlerini hatırlatan parçalar olarak dikkat çekti. Bu görünümdeki sade yapı Blazy’nin rafine zanaatkarlığını ön plana çıkarırken markanın tarihine bir saygı duruşuydu aynı zamanda.

Tweed gibi ikonik materyaller Blazy’nin vizyonuyla dönüşüm geçirdi. Kimi zaman gevşek dokulu bir örgüye, kimi zaman püsküllü yüzeylere dönüşerek genç bir dinamizm kazandı. Koleksiyon boyunca hissedilen bu “eskiyle yeninin” gerilimi ne nostaljiye teslim oldu ne de geleceğe aceleci bir sıçrama yaptı. Blazy markanın dünüyle bugününü bir araya getirmeyi başardı.

Kapanışta Awar Odhiang sırtı açık, fildişi ipek bir tişört ve çiçek tüyleriyle bezeli bir etekle sahnedeydi. Blazy’nin Bottega günlerinden kalan mirası ile Chanel’in mirasını harmanladığı bu görünüm defilenin belki de en etkileyici görünümüydü.
